The set is in PRE-OWNED but EXCELLENT condition showing no signs of damage or wear. The set is boxed and complete with the folding board (Goban), 176 black and 176 white stones (Yunzi) and is housed in its original faux crocodile-grain box with Japanese paper label.

This vintage Japanese Go set dates from around the 1960's and was manufactured for the export market (bearing an English "Made In Japan" sticker). Featuring a solid wood folding board (Goban) and real stone playing pieces (Yunzi) the set is of excellent quality and completely original. The board measures approximately 12" x 13" (30cm x 33cm) open, approximately 6" x 13" (15cm x 33cm) when folded and is ideal for use at home or as a portable set.
